FAQs

Getting Started

  • Whether you’re a beginner or looking to enhance your skills, we have the perfect programs for you. If you are new to golf, we recommend starting with an all-levels group clinic or a private/semi private lesson. Before joining our leagues or golf retreats, it’s essential to be familiar with pace of play. This includes navigating the golf course and understanding when to pick up your ball if you’re falling behind. For our 9-hole on-course lessons, we recommend that you have had some kind of basic instruction and knowledge of the game.

If you still have questions or need guidance on where to begin, don't hesitate to reach out to us at info@ironladygolf.com. We're here to make your introduction to golf enjoyable and stress-free!

  • For most of our group lessons, we are able to provide a selection of clubs for you to use. However it’s always a good idea to check with us in advance. If you’re joining us for an on-course program, you can easily rent clubs at the golf course’s pro shop.

  • If you’re looking for consistent play and amazing women to play with, look no further than our Iron Lady Golf leagues. Our leagues provide the perfect blend of weekly golf and the opportunity to connect with other women in a social and non-competitive atmosphere. All skill levels are welcome, whether you’re a beginner or an experienced player, aiming for a casual round or keeping score, there’s room for everyone.

  • Our trips are an absolute blast, and being an amazing golfer is definitely not a requirement to jump into the fun. These trips are about connecting with other incredible women and enjoying the game together - all in a beautiful location! The only thing we ask is that you know how to keep up with the pace of play. Beyond that, all you need is a positive attitude and a readiness to have a fantastic time. Come join us - it’s going to be a great adventure!

  • We are always looking to expand to new locations! If you’re interested in bringing a program to your area, please reach out to us here. We’ll carefully consider all suggestions as we work together towards growing our community.

  • We require a certain number of sign ups in order for a program to run. Iron Lady Golf reserves the right to cancel or reschedule sessions if the minimum number is not met. We encourage you to sign up at least a month in advance to help ensure a program will run.

Leagues

Travel & Retreats

  • An Iron Lady Golf League is a weekly playing group for women of all skill levels, with both indoor and outdoor options. These leagues are about enjoying golf in a welcoming and supportive environment, whether you’re a seasoned player or just getting started.

If you’re brand new to the game, we recommend joining one of our clinics first to help build your confidence before you hit the course. Come for the golf, stay for the friendships!

  • We have an easy-to-use online booking system for tee times. Tee time bookings open two weeks in advance so you can select a tee time with a friend (you are able to book for yourself and other members in the same league) or sign up on your own and meet other Iron Ladies!

As a member, you can access the tee time booking page two ways:

    1) Click the link in the email from Iron Lady Golf. Please add no-reply@ironladygolf.com to your contacts to ensure you receive it.

    2) Log in to your Iron Lady Golf account and navigate to your Dashboard.

  • Absolutely! Golf is more enjoyable with friends by your side. If you’re buying a program for your friend, you’ll be prompted to add their information at check out. They can then create a free Iron Lady Golf account to confirm their registration. Alternatively, your friend can purchase their own program. For league play, you can easily book yourself and your friends on the tee sheet if you are members of the same league.

  • At your League Orientation Meet and Greet, you have the chance to meet and connect with your League Captain and other fellow Iron Lady members! Review basic rules, etiquette and how to navigate your way around the golf course. A chance to ask questions, receive your welcome gift and meet other league members before the season starts. Enjoy a drink and toast a great season of play! Please note, there is no league play on the day of Orientation.

  • Each Iron Lady Golf League has a Volunteer Captain. This is your go-to leader for the season. They’re there to answer questions, ensure the league runs smoothly, and foster a welcoming environment. Captains also help coordinate end-of-session socials so if you’d like to help, please make sure to ask them.

As volunteers, they generously give their time to make the league a success—please treat them with respect and kindness! For administrative questions, like Iron Lady Golf policies, contact our Headquarters team directly at info@ironladygolf.com.

  • Our Learn Portal is like Netflix for golf tips! This exclusive curated library of videos is only available to Iron Lady members. From mastering your swing to sharpening your short game, it offers expert guidance so you can learn at your own pace and level up your skills whenever it suits you. Members can access the Learn Portal here.

  • We do not offer reservations for specific tee times. However, when the tee sheet opens, you can select the time that suits you best each week.

Please note, tee time ranges will be finalized at least two weeks prior to the start of the season based on the number of participants.

  • Yes, we have waitlists for all sold out leagues. You can join a waitlist by selecting the sold out product option, then click the ‘Add to Waitlist’ button. We will reach out to all waitlist members if a spot becomes available.

  • We welcome all ages and stages of golfers on our trips. While we do recommend people that come on our trips have prior golfing experience and are comfortable playing 18 holes, the only rule we have is that you must know how to keep up with pace of play (play in 4 hours or less) and navigate your way around a golf course.

  • Absolutely! Many of our participants come on their own. Our groups are inclusive and you will always have someone to spend time with! We guarantee you will have lots of fun getting to know all of the other incredible women! We offer both single and double occupancy and if you are a single person looking to be paired up - we try our best to find you someone to room with.

  • No - we don't include flights on our trips. People travel many different ways and are coming from different locations for our trips. Some participants like to use their points or stay longer (or come earlier) and enjoy the destination.

  • No! We learn, play and connect with amazing women on all of our trips. We always incorporate some kind of sightseeing, hike or adventure on them too. We try different restaurants and make sure we enjoy each destination and all they have to offer.

  • A private group is a great option for a group of people (12 or more) that would like to go away on their own Iron Lady Golf Trip. These trips are open to both men and women and can be built to travel to almost any destination. We will work with you to customize a trip that is right for you and your participants! Please email julia@themrggroup.com to inquire about more details.
